Given Hope Women’s Cooperative Foundation 

The foundation established a women-only cooperative with the objective of strengthening community bonds. Given Hope Charity supports and invests in twenty women every two years. The cooperative is dedicated to empowering women who wish to improve their lives and achieve financial independence, regardless of whether they are widowed, married, single, young, or older. Thirty-nine acres of land and crops are allocated for planting, enabling participants to sell their harvest at the end of each planting season and use the proceeds to invest in their own businesses. Members have cultivated crops such as cassava, corn, and potatoes. Every two years, a new cohort of women will be welcomed into the cooperative.
